TRAVEL TO CUBA WITH THE PRESERVATION RESOURCE CENTER OF NEW ORLEANS

April 23-30, 2026

Dear PRC Explorers,

New Orleans is unique in our country for its vibrant music, incredible cuisine, unforgettable architecture, and warm people. We’re known as the northernmost point of the Caribbean, and we love our city because we can appreciate the tropical beauty it offers. The Preservation Resource Center of New Orleans invites you to travel with us next April 23-30 into the heart of the Caribbean, to Cuba, to experience the beauty and history that this incredible island has to offer. Like New Orleanians, Cubans celebrate their incredible heritage, and this trip promises to expose you to the best of the best. Let the PRC and the trusted and stellar company Project Por Amor guide you through the riches of Cuban architecture, neighborhoods, food, and music, and enjoy the warmth of the hospitality and beauty of Cuba’s history along the way.

This voyage to Cuba will be a once-in-a-lifetime journey that will include not only some of the top sites in Havana, but excursions to Cienfuegos, said to be the city most like New Orleans in the Caribbean, and Trinidad, a stunning Colonial village frozen in time. All three cities are UNESCO World Heritage Sites. You will be led through some of Cuba’s most historic sites by the country’s top architecture and history experts, with stops at some of the best restaurants the country has to offer.

Our week of exploration offers an excellent itinerary that balances in-depth, fascinating site visits with time to relax and enjoy all that Cuba has to offer. The itinerary was developed specifically for our group, emphasizing the exploration of architecture and neighborhoods (as only PRC would have!) with plenty of stops for memory-making moments. Don’t worry – though this trip will offer in-depth, rich content, there will also be classic cars, mojitos, and special private experiences just for us, such as cocktails and performances in private homes.

Your trip will also support the Preservation Resource Center, allowing us to continue work to fulfill our mission to preserve New Orleans’ historic architecture, neighborhoods, and cultural identity through collaboration, empowerment, and service to our community. We hope you will join us for this phenomenal opportunity!

Sincerely,

Danielle Del Sol
Executive Director, Preservation Resource Center of New Orleans
