Ingrid Hoopes

Hailing from Middletown, Delaware, a once upon a time sleepy farm town turned suburban sprawl, Ingrid grew up wanting to see the world beyond fields and housing developments. Instead of satisfying her desire to travel, living in places like New Zealand, Spain, and Denmark only deepened Ingrid’s appetite for experiencing new cultures and meeting new people. Having recently graduated from Bucknell University, where she studied Political Science and grew to appreciate living in a small town, Ingrid can’t wait to help others find beauty in discovering new places. She is interested in all things environmental, and she has worked on several projects in college that promoted the conservation of natural resources in order to ensure a more ecological future. She is excited to be a part of the Project Por Amor team and help others discover the joy of exploring new destinations through a culturally rich program!
